2017 Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance

Feburary, 2017 -- The 11th Annual Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance, which showcased 201 classic cars and 56 vintage motorcycles, was held on February 12 at the Boca Raton Resort & Club. The event attracted more than 7,000 attendees, all to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

As usual, diversity is what brings the crowds, and this year, as in the past, there was something for everyone. For example, the Boca Raton Concours had one of the largest collections of Auburns, Cords, and Duesenbergs (ACDs), which were the Marques of the Year, at its event. This collection of ACDs was surpassed only by the display of ACDs at the annual Labor Day reunions in Auburn, Indiana. There were also micro cars; finned cars from the 50s; sports cars, both American and European; muscle cars; and some of the first motorized vehicles built.

Wayne Carini, host of Chasing Classic Cars, served as Grand Marshal, and an expert panel of judges went to work early to select the finest vintage, antique, classic and exotic vehicles in their classes. Judging was based on the cars condition, authenticity/originality, and its appeal in the following areas: exterior, interior, engine, as well as its overall presentation, visual impact and the significance of the car. In addition, attendees had the opportunity to choose their favorite vehicle at the event.

Here are the vehicles that came out on top at the 2017 Boca Raton Concours d'Elegance.
